Bidah: The definition

As salam alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu

Today I want to talk about a topic that isn't always easy to talk about. The topic I am going to talk about is bidah. Hopefully the goal is that by the end of this post, in sha Allah -you and I will become more aware of bidah and become more aware of where we get out knowledge from.

I was reading a book today and it thought it was a beautiful reminder for myself and others. So, I thought to share it with you. I won't be making any additions to the content because I fear that I might pass the message across in a way it wasn't intended to be passed. I did paraphrase the content though. 

Jannah or Jahanam- Between the Jaws

As’salam alaikum warahmatullahi wa barakatuh to my brothers and sisters in Islam.

Today, I want to talk about a topic that many see an insignificant but in reality, it is significant in the sight of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala). Before we begin, I would like to share a hadith of Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) who reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessing be upon him) said, "He whom Allah saves from the evil of that which is between his jaws and the evil of that which is between his legs will enter Jannah." [At-Tirmidhi].

So what does this mean? The evil between the jaw and the evil between the legs?

Interactions with the opposite gender

Today in sha Allah I will be discussing the issue of interactions with the opposite gender. I chose this topic because it is a topic with strict rulings and it should not be taken lightly. I was also recently reminded of the rulings and thought it would be nice remind everyone else. 

So In sha Allah I will try to cover both in person and online interactions.
